Many insurance companies cover some or all of the cost of Acupuncture treatments for in and out of network providers. Each insurance is different. Check with your insurance company to determine your level of coverage.

Here are some questions to ask your insurance provider prior to your first treatment:

  • Do you cover Acupuncture with an out-of-network provider?
  • For what conditions?
  • What is my deductible?
  • How many sessions are covered?
  • Is a referral needed?
  • Is Prior-Authorization Needed?
Jean Donati Acupuncture does not bill insurance. We are an "out-of-network" provider.

We will provide you with a “superbill” that includes all the information (procedure and ICD 10 codes) that you need to submit your claim to insurance for reimbursement. While Facial Rejuvenation is a cosmetic procedure not normally covered by insurance, you will still receive regular acupuncture during your session, which will appear on your superbill.

Payment is expected at time of treatment. Jean Donati Acupuncture accepts Cash, Check, Venmo, and Credit Cards (bank surcharge added).
